David Hitcham was invited by Lieutenant General Jonathan Page CB OBE, President of the Royal British Legion Norfolk County, to attend the above function held on Thursday 14th September 2023 at Birkbeck Hall, The Great Hospital, Norwich.
David, on behalf of the Aylsham Show Council, was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for the support the Show has given to the British Legion for many years.
This came as a complete surprise and was very touching. David is pictured above, and the Certificate, with Paul (Smudge) Smith MBE who is County Chairman of the RBL, the Chairman of Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council, and the Station Commanders of RAF Marham and USAF Lakenheath.
