Circus Ferrel and their eye catching Big Top are back again with more family friendly fun! The talented team will be entertaining everyone with bite sized live shows throughout the day from 9.30am to 4.30pm. The Society is essentially a Fancy Pigeon Club these days having a previous history of Poultry and Rabbits too. We have members from all over East Anglia and beyond. There is an annual show at Log Sutton and we are pleased to be at the Aylsham Show in 2024. It is essentially a shop window to the public showing off what small livestock and in particular Fancy Pigeons can offer as a hobby. New members are welcome.
At the heart of the Show, the Main Ring will host a varied line-up of events. These will include Private and Trade Driving Classses, Heavy Horses Display, Pony Clubs Mounted Games, Arrival of the President and his Wife, Childrens’ Fancy Dress Competitions, Paul Hannam Stunt Quads, Jump Dogs Parachute Display Team, Joseph’s Amazing Camels, Childrens’ Sack Races, The White Woofers, Grand Parade and Presentation of Cups and Trophies, Childrens’ Tug of War.

The Countryside Ring will also host a varied line-up of events. These will include Norfolk and Suffolk Flyfishers Society, Wills Working Spaniels, Fens Falconry Display, Bob Hogg Sheep Dog Display, Lamb National, Lakenham Union Rugby Football Club Display, Starting Handle Club Display, Norfolk Military Vehicles Group Display, Classic Cars Display.

Entries to the Show’s ever-popular fancy dress competitions (Mounted or Non-Mounted) are free and individuals and groups are welcome. This will take place in the Main Ring and the start time is 12.10pm. Please register beforehand at the Administration and Finance Marquee which is very near to the Members Enclosure entrance. At the 2024 Show, the Walter Gay Cup was presented to The Potts Family with Room on a Broom who won the Unmounted Section (pictured here) and were overall winners, and The Goodley Family won the Mounted Section with RNLI (pictured on the Main Ring Schedule under Attractions).
