An exercise vehicle is a carriage not of a traditional type design and includes those with pneumatic tyres specifically designed for carriages (I.e. no car tyres). Lamps need not be carried. Judging will include general cleanliness, safety of turnout, correct fitting of harness and vehicle suitability.
This class is a qualifier for the 2017 Osborne Refrigerators BDS National Championships. The highest placed turnout owned and driven by a member of the British Driving Society and eligible for the following Type-Section disregarding those already qualified down to 6th place (10th place for type- sections (o) - (r)) in the class will qualify for the 2017 Semi Final. The Championship will immediately follow the Semi Final.
(l) Single or Tandem Turnout driven to a two-wheel exercise vehicle
(m) Single, Pair or Tandem Turnout driven to a four-wheel exercise vehicle
(n) Single Turnout driven by a young driver aged 10-14 years
(o) Single Turnout driven by a young driver aged 15-17 years
