Join us at the Main Ring for an exciting display of family fun!
The annual Aylsham Show is back, on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31st 2020, with plenty of new attractions and dozens of old favourites, including the livestock classes.
The stately grounds of the National Trust’s Blickling Hall will host a packed programme of agricultural and countryside attractions for all ages and interests, offering an affordable and fun family day out.
Main Ring Attractions for 2020 will be announced later. New for 2020 will be a Fashion Show.
Other attractions include driving classes, a heavy-horse display, and the North Norfolk Harriers hunting dog pack.
Competitions for children include the Black Sheep sack race, fancy dress, and a tug-of-war, and Punch and Judy will be setting up stall. Winners of the livestock classes will join the grand parade, and the show will also see this year’s Aylsham Show Food and Drink Heroes receive their awards.
The Worstead spinners, Norfolk Poultry Club, North Walsham Aviculture, Norfolk Dog Training, classic cars and military vehicles, and the Starting Handle Club’s vintage machinery display will all add to the fun and variety.
There will be music from the Aylsham Band and Jelly Roll Jazz Band and a variety of outdoor pursuits will include Fakenham Bowmen and the North East Norfolk Scouts, giving visitors the opportunity to try archery and wall-climbing.
For those who don’t fancy a long walk, Lennie the Land Train will be running around the grounds, free of charge.
